Our services
There are more than 450 railway companies in Germany that transport millions of tonnes of goods every year. We are a reliable partner that provides technical inspection services to determine the operability of your trains. We also offer additional services, such as the preparation of railway wagon lists, brake test registration forms, and rail worthiness checks. We are obliged to report any irregularities we identify during our inspections. As wagon technicians, we are also responsible for taking 3-point measurements, identifying whether permitted load volumes have been exceeded, and managing damaged wagons. We withdraw unsafe vehicles from service. We also inspect rented wagons after their return to demine overall integrity and operational condition. We provide services to our customers throughout Germany 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are aware of our responsibility, so providing the highest possible quality is our number one priority. We are a partner that reacts rapidly and flexibly to keep your business on track.
Digital Processes
Our order management takes place online. As a customer, you receive access to our independently developed online software, the Online Cargo Planner (OCP). Orders can be requested and monitored around the clock and necessary documents can be uploaded and managed. As a customer, your employees will be notified of order changes and important information via email if desired. Our online train dispatch offers you the opportunity to digitally follow the process of train preparation and to report or make changes immediately online. Of course, we can also be reached by email and telephone to address your questions and concerns. Your orders and data are archived with us; you can download your documents again at any time when you need the data. You can also find the necessary certificates, evidence and documents from the wagon masters online in the planning software.

Wagon technician (m/f)
Online Cargo Deutschland is looking to fill a position requiring work at sites across Germany as soon as possible.
Your duties:
- Compilation of rail journey documentation (wagon list, brake docket)
- Technical inspection of wagons and reporting of irregularities
- Performing work in accordance with all necessary and predetermined regulations
- Rail-worthiness inspection
- Inspection of rented wagons after return
- Management of damaged wagons
- Withdrawal of unsafe vehicles from operational service
Requirements:
- Technical apprenticeship
- Additional professional qualification of Wagon Technical for Freight Transport
- Knowledge of the applicable regulations and experience in the operational service setting
- Willingness to work at varying sites throughout Germany, on weekends, and in shifts (including night shifts)
- Class B driving licence
